The SsangYong XIV-2 Convertible Concept is set to make an appearance at the Geneva Motor Show. The XIV-2 (eXciting user Interface Vehicle 2) is being offered as a premium SUV. It offers bold styling that uses the most progressive design yet from SsangYong. It has aggressive front and rear styling, muscular haunches and an innovative opening roof. Its thick C-pillars and rising waistline are similar to those of rival Range Rover Evoque. According to its overall dimensions, it is a bit smaller than the Range Rover, with a 2,600mm wheelbase (against the Evoque Coupe’s 2,660mm) that enhances dynamics and performance. Powering the SsangYong XIV-2 is a 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines. It will go on sale in 2014 if the concept gets approved for production.
