Bmw M3 DTM makes its debut with Castrol EDGE and Aral livery

BMW Motorsport has teamed up again with DTM, marked with the offering of six BMW M3 DTM cars in 2012. The Castrol EDGE BMW M3 DTM is one of those cars that bear the design of Castrol EDGE and Aral Ultimate. This signifies an extension of the current, long-term partnership between Castrol and BMW Motorsport. In addition, it also considers Aral Ultimate as the partner of BMW Motorsport in the DTM. BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt said that it has put its faith in the top-performing Castrol lubricants for several years.
He said that on the racetrack, they have “celebrated countless successes.” He explained that it’s because of this that BMW Motorsport is “delighted” that it could build on this established partnership in the DTM. He said that high-performance brands Castrol EDGE and Aral Ultimate perfectly suit its DTM project.
According to Michael Hansen, the CEO Deutsche Castrol Vertriebsgesellschaft, said that the DTM is “one of the most spectacular racing series worldwide,” pushing the drivers, teams and cars to its limits. He explained that these demands for high performance compel it to undergo research and develop its products through the rigors of motorsport. He added that DTM and BMW Motorsport are looking forward to future challenges and are prepared to guarantee that BMW succeeds in the DTM just like in the past.
