2012 Geneva Motor Show Preview: MINI Clubvan Concept

MINI unveiled today its latest creation, the Clubvan Concept. That’s right folks, the British brand will expand its lineup and wants some feedback by revealing this new concept. Based on the MINI Clubman concept car, the new Clubvan Concept will be unveiled in March at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and promises to combine the driving fun for which MINI is renowned with increased load-carrying capability. According to the manufacturer, the new car is a spiritual successor to the Morris Mini Van, which featured a 10-centimetre-longer wheelbase, separate load compartment and split rear doors.

The new concept has two seats, five doors and endless usage potential. Moreover, the vehicle features the so-called Clubdoor on the right-hand side create comfortable access to the interior. The Clubdoor gives owners the option of loading or unloading smaller items from the side of the car as well as the rear. Regarding its design, the Clubvan Concept is s true MINI and features the same design as the current models.

The Clubvan Concept comes with British Racing Green exterior paintwork, extended to the roof, C-pillars and exterior mirror caps. Just like any other vehicles charged with transportation tasks the rear side windows are opaque. In addition, heavily tinted glass for the rear doors make it difficult to see into the load compartment.
